Mythology map · canon unstable

Every system
has a glitch.

Characters and symbols return in altered forms. Bodies are built, stolen, destroyed, reconstructed, and loved. Audiences cross the boundary and become robots.

Recurring signals

A symbolic language for bodies and systems.

Across the productions, the same questions return in altered forms: Who builds the body? Who owns it after modification? Can a system designed for obedience learn desire? What survives destruction—and what changes when an audience is invited inside the machine?

Hearts

Desire and vulnerability appear as circuitry, organs, gifts, targets, and evidence of autonomy. A heart is the thing a controlling system cannot fully possess.

Glitches

A glitch can be failure, awakening, dissent, difference—or the precise moment programming stops being destiny.

//

Portals

Worlds open through projection, screens, bubbles, ritual, and collective imagination. Crossing over changes both the traveler and the room.

Bodies

Bodies are built, modified, watched, desired, stolen, disassembled, reclaimed, and remade. Live performers keep the machine story physical.

+

Reboot / Resurrection

Productions and characters refuse to remain finished. Destruction becomes a transition; revival is never a return to exactly the same form.

Surveillance

Creators, commands, cameras, updates, and optimization systems try to observe and control feeling. Being seen is never neutral.

Rebellion

Resistance is joyful, erotic, comic, poetic, unruly, and collective. It often looks more like a dance floor than an army.

Love

Love is the recurring error no machine can fully debug: irrational, risky, embodied, and capable of changing the code.

Play

Play interrupts efficiency. It invites audiences to answer, wish, laugh, dress as robots, and become participants rather than observers.

?

Narrative current

Creation is never the end of the story.

01

Build

A body, world, identity, or system is assembled.

02

Control

Its creator or command structure attempts to define its purpose.

03

Glitch

Desire, difference, humor, or contact makes obedience unstable.

04

Break

The body or world is threatened, dismantled, or interrupted.

05

Reboot

What returns carries memory—and becomes something else.

06

Invite

The audience crosses the boundary and helps complete the signal.

Transmission interrupted

There is no single fixed canon.

The mythology evolves with each production, performer, tool, creative discovery, venue, and audience. Contradictions are not necessarily errors. Sometimes they are portals.
